Project Manager
Location: Greenville, NC
Schedule: Monday through Friday
A commercial interiors contractor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee ceiling and flooring installations from kickoff through final walkthrough. This is a field-focused role where you will spend most of your day on job sites, supporting installation crews and keeping customers informed at every stage. It is a great fit for someone who is organized, communicates proactively, and takes pride in delivering a quality finished product.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
-Reach out to customers at the start of each project to set expectations and stay in close contact as schedules shift
-Walk job sites before work begins to confirm scope and quantities ahead of material orders
-Build installation schedules with clear milestones and hold crews accountable to them
-Make sure crews arrive on time, have the right tools, and complete work within agreed timelines
-Lead startup and final walkthroughs, including quality inspections on completed work
-Coordinate punch list items and follow-up visits until each job is fully closed out
-Keep sales and operations teams updated on project status, including billing progress
Project Manager Requirements:
-2+ years of experience managing construction, commercial interiors, or installation projects
-Ceiling and flooring experience preferred
-Comfortable spending most of the day in the field and visiting job sites daily
