    Job Summary:

    This is a full-time position responsible for managing projects that support our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

    Essential Functions:

    • Manage and execute all aspects of capital projects.

    • Lead the development of project specifications with the requestor.

    • Prepare and update a project plan using Microsoft Project or equivalent software.

    • Prepare scopes of work (SOW) and requests for quote (RFQ) documents.

    • Identify manufacturers, suppliers, integrators and contractors, and obtain competitive bids.

    • Review quotes, provide purchase recommendations, submit purchase requisitions, and track costs.

    • Plan, schedule and coordinate installation, commissioning and qualification activities.

    • Prepare change control documentation, work instructions, equipment installation and operational qualification protocols, and summary reports as required.

    • Ensure safety is designed into equipment.

    • Ensure long-term maintenance and reliability practices are established.

    • Contribute technical expertise to maximize equipment reliability and performance.

    • Provide engineering solutions to address repetitive failures and other problems.

    • Work closely with process owners on continuous improvement projects.

    • Support maintenance, production and project management.

    • Communicate effectively with AR associates, suppliers, contractors, and customers.

    • Conduct yourself in a professional, respectful manner consistent with AR Guiding Principles, and embrace 6S LEAN culture.

    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Job Specifications:

    • B.S. degree in Engineering
    • A minimum of 3 years related experience
    • PMP certification preferred
    • A self-starting team player that can handle multiple and changing priorities
    • Strong problem solving, decision making, and project management skills
    • Strong analytical and computer skills
    • Sound organization and communication skills
    • Communicate fluently in English
    • Tolerate odors and noise associated with manufacturing operations
    • Travel throughout the manufacturing areas, buildings and campus to allow personal observations of equipment and facilities associated with responsibilities
    • Travel to customer and vendor facilities as required
    • Accommodate a flexible work schedule
    • Proficiency in computer programs for engineering such as Office 365 applications and AutoCad
    • Manufacturing experience is a plus. E.g. Mixing, coating, drying, web handling, or slitting
    • GMP experience is a plus
