    Highlights

This role does not own the day-to-day operation of those functions; instead, it drives the projects that implement, upgrade, and optimize the systems and processes those functions rely on — from ERP and HRIS rollouts to contract management platforms to office moves and infrastructure upgrades. The ideal candidate is a versatile project manager who can flex across functional domains, build trust quickly with non-technical stakeholders, and bring consistent PM rigor — scope, schedule, budget, risk, and change management — to every G&A initiative on their plate.

    Responsibilities

    Finance & Accounting

    • Plan and manage Finance & Accounting system and process projects — ERP implementations or upgrades, close-process automation, AP/AR system rollouts, and reporting/BI initiatives — from initiation through go-live.
    • Build and maintain project plans, budgets, and resource schedules for finance-related initiatives in partnership with Accounting and FP&A stakeholders.
    • Coordinate testing, data migration, and cutover activities for finance system projects, including UAT sign-off with process owners.
    • Track project-level risks and controls considerations, escalating issues affecting the financial reporting or GxP-regulated control environment.

    Human Resources

    • Lead HR systems and program implementation projects — HRIS or payroll platform migrations, benefits system transitions, and performance/talent management rollouts.
    • Manage project scope, timeline, and budget for HR initiatives, coordinating between HR stakeholders, IT, and outside vendors (implementation partners, brokers, PEOs).
    • Drive change management and communication planning for HR project rollouts, including training coordination and adoption tracking.
    • Maintain project documentation — charters, RAID logs, status reports — for all active HR initiatives.

    Legal & Compliance

    • Manage projects supporting Legal & Compliance functions — contract lifecycle management (CLM) system implementations, GRC/policy management platform rollouts, and compliance program initiatives.
    • Coordinate cross-functional input from Legal, Compliance, and outside counsel on project requirements, timelines, and approval workflows.
    • Track deliverables and milestones for risk and insurance program transitions, audit readiness projects, and corporate governance initiatives.
    • Maintain project-level documentation repositories, ensuring version control and audit trail for compliance-related project artifacts.

    IT & Facilities

    • Lead IT and Facilities projects — infrastructure upgrades, business application rollouts (ERP, HRIS, CRM, collaboration tools), office moves/build-outs, and procurement system implementations.
    • Develop project schedules and budgets for IT/Facilities initiatives, coordinating internal IT staff, facilities vendors, contractors, and managed service providers.
    • Manage testing, cutover, and go-live logistics for system and infrastructure projects, minimizing disruption to end users.
    • Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning projects for corporate systems and facilities.

    Corporate Administration

    • Serve as the central point of coordination across concurrent G&A projects at Celldex, ensuring consistent PM methodology, status reporting, and stakeholder communication across Finance, HR, Legal, and IT/Facilities workstreams.
    • Build and maintain master project plans, RAID logs, and dashboards; report project health, risks, and dependencies to the CFO and other executive sponsors.
    • Facilitate project kickoffs, steering committee updates, and stakeholder working sessions to keep G&A initiatives aligned with Celldex's business priorities.
    • Manage vendor and implementation-partner relationships across G&A project engagements, including scope, timeline, and invoice tracking.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of project management experience, with a track record of delivering projects across two or more of the following domains: finance/accounting systems, HR/HRIS, legal/compliance platforms, or IT/facilities.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and manage project plans, budgets, RAID logs, and status reporting for concurrent, cross-functional initiatives.
    • Experience coordinating implementation vendors, managed service providers, or outside consultants on system or infrastructure projects.
    • Working familiarity with core G&A concepts (basic accounting controls, HR compliance, contract lifecycle, IT change management) sufficient to engage credibly with functional stakeholders.
    • Experience within a life sciences, biotechnology, or other regulated industry, with familiarity navigating GxP-adjacent project requirements a plus.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with functional leaders, external vendors, and end users at all levels.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.
    • Experience managing ERP, HRIS, or CLM/GRC platform implementations (e.g., NetSuite, Rippling/ADP, Smartsheet, AuditBoard, Workiva).
    • Experience with PPM/collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or Asana for multi-workstream project tracking.
    • Exposure to change management methodology (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) for system and process rollouts.

    Key Competencies

    • Cross-functional versatility: comfortable managing finance, HR, legal, and IT/facilities projects in parallel without losing rigor in any one workstream.
    • Project discipline: builds and maintains scope, schedule, budget, and risk artifacts that keep stakeholders aligned and initiatives on track.
    • Stakeholder management: builds trust quickly with functional leaders and vendors, and manages competing priorities without adversarial dynamics.
    • Adaptability: ramps up quickly on unfamiliar functional domains and translates functional requirements into clear project plans.
    • Communication: delivers clear, concise status updates and escalations to sponsors, steering committees, and the CFO.
