    Project Manager – Asphalt Plants

    Location: Florence, KY / Greater Cincinnati Area
    Travel: 40–50%

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee asphalt plant and heavy machinery projects from planning through completion. This role will coordinate customers, engineering teams, vendors, and contractors while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the full lifecycle of asphalt plant projects.
    • Coordinate engineering, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
    • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project.
    • Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality, and milestones.
    • Review blueprints, AutoCAD layouts, equipment specifications, and field measurements.
    • Maintain project documentation, reports, and punch lists.
    • Manage project scope, change orders, costs, and contracts.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and local regulations.
    • Support equipment installation, commissioning, and final project closeout.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
    • 5+ years of project management experience in heavy machinery, industrial equipment, construction, or plant operations.
    • Asphalt plant or construction materials experience highly preferred.
    • Experience with MS Project, SAP/ERP systems, blueprints, and AutoCAD preferred.
    • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with technical teams and customers.
    • Willingness to travel 40–50%, including regional and occasional international travel.
