A contractor with over 30+ years in the government, federal, and public markets. We focus on work around the Midwest and are a leading contractor at what we do. We are looking to bring on a strong Project Manager that has experience with VA Hospitals, NAVFAC, USACE, CPS or something similar. With the current backlog, we need a PM or SPM who is already well-versed within Federal work and the contracts/regulations that go along with it.

Job Details
The Project Manager (or Senior Project Manager) will be in charge of all federal/government related projects. This person must come with that prior experience.

Responsibilities
1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of Federal/Government construction projects from initiation to completion.
2. Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
3. Developing comprehensive project plans and schedules, and monitoring progress against these plans.
4. Coordinating and collaborating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government officials.
5. Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks and issues, and developing mitigation strategies as necessary.
6. Managing project resources and budgets, and providing regular status reports to senior management.
7. Ensuring all project documentation is maintained accurately and is compliant with company and government regulations.
8. Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
9. Evaluating project outcomes and providing feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on Federal/Government projects.
2. Proven experience dealing with government contracts.
3. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. An SSHO certification would be a plus.
4. Excellent leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and standards.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage project risks and issues.
8. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. A strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.
