    Job Title: Project Manager External

    Location(s): Cary, NC


    Summary
    We are seeking an Account Manager – Technical Education to support a healthcare-focused technical education compliance initiative. This role serves as the primary point of contact for technical education project activities, partnering with internal stakeholders and customers to coordinate training programs, improve compliance, and ensure successful project execution.

    This position is ideal for candidates with strong account management, project coordination, stakeholder management, or healthcare operations experience who enjoy working in a highly collaborative, customer-focused environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Project & Account Management

    • Serve as the primary Technical Education contact for assigned project accounts.
    • Manage customer accounts throughout the engagement lifecycle.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with Regional Service Managers (RSMs) to develop account-specific strategies.
    • Support hospitals in achieving and maintaining technical training compliance.

    Training Coordination

    • Assess customer training needs and identify appropriate technical education programs.
    • Coordinate instructor-led, virtual, and web-based training registrations.
    • Monitor enrollment progress and resolve scheduling or registration issues.
    • Ensure alignment between customer needs, training availability, and project objectives.

    Communication & Customer Support

    • Execute customer communication plans in partnership with Regional Service Managers.
    • Conduct outreach regarding training opportunities and compliance requirements.
    • Keep customers informed of training schedules, prerequisites, and registration processes.
    • Document customer interactions and project updates.

    Project Coordination

    • Participate in project planning and review meetings.
    • Track project milestones and compliance progress.
    • Coordinate activities across multiple internal teams and customer stakeholders.
    • Learn business processes and systems quickly while helping drive project success.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (5+ years in a related field).
    • Experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Customer Relationship Management, or Stakeholder Management.
    • Strong Project Coordination or Project Management experience.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and customer accounts simultaneously.
    • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Customer-focused mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
    • Ability to build relationships across multiple organizational levels.
    • Willingness to quickly learn new systems and business processes.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience within healthcare, medical technology, training coordination, or healthcare operations.
    • Knowledge of diagnostic imaging or therapy environments.
    • SAP experience.
    • Experience with compliance tracking.
    • Vendor management experience.
    • Process improvement experience.

    Interview Process

    • First Round: Virtual interview.
    • Second Round: Panel interview (virtual or hybrid).
     

    Location:
    • Preference for candidates located in the Cary/Durham/Raleigh (Triangle), NC area.
    • Hybrid/Onsite based on business needs.

    Duration:
    • Initial 6-month contract.
    • Strong possibility of extension.
    • Project expected to continue for approximately 12–18 months.

    Travel:
    • Up to 25% travel (actual travel expected to be significantly less).
    • Domestic U.S. travel only.
    • Travel expenses reimbursed.
