Project Manager / Estimator

Our client is a well-established general contractor with more than 20 years of success serving light industrial and commercial clients across the Southeast. Known for exceptional client relationships, the business generates approximately 90% of its work from repeat customers and continues to grow through reputation and referrals.

Job Description

  • Manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet budget and timeline requirements.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for light industrial and commercial construction projects.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documents.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss project scopes and budgets.
  • Provide detailed reports and documentation for each project phase.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager / Estimator should have:

  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Estimating or preconstruction experience strongly preferred
  • Background in light industrial, commercial, retail, or restaurant projects
  • Proven ability to manage projects valued at $1M-$5M
  • Strong client-facing, business development, and communication skills
