We are seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to join a thriving commercial electrical and low-voltage contracting team in the Sacramento area. This position offers the opportunity to manage projects from inception to completion, foster client relationships, coordinate field teams, and contribute to the company"s growth. Responsibilities

• Manage 3-5 commercial projects simultaneously.
• Develop estimates and project proposals.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project scope.
• Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, and project schedules.
• Manage project budgets, contracts, change orders, and client communication.
• Support staffing and resource allocation for active projects.
• Conduct site visits and oversee project execution from kickoff through closeout.
• Utilize Bluebeam and CAD software to review plans and prepare drawings.
• Collaborate with leadership on operational and growth initiatives.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Essential Skills

• Experience managing commercial electrical, fire alarm, low-voltage, or building systems projects.
• Strong understanding of project management processes and project lifecycle.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in the $30K-$90K range.
• Experience with service-based electrical projects and customer support work.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam.
• Ability to create or modify CAD drawings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working directly with customers, field teams, and leadership.
• Self-starter who can operate independently.

Work Environment

This role involves active participation in project management beyond desk work. As a Project Manager / Estimator, you will take ownership of projects from estimation through execution, working closely with customers, field teams, and company leadership. The work environment is dynamic and involves utilizing technologies such as Bluebeam and AutoCAD. A company vehicle and gas card are provided to facilitate site visits and project oversight.

This is a Contract position based out of Elk Grove, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $120000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
