The company has built an exceptional reputation for client service, resulting in a business model driven primarily by repeat customers and long-standing relationships.Job DescriptionIdentify and pursue new project opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts. Develop budgets, proposals, estimates, and competitive bids during preconstruction. Manage projects from award through closeout, ensuring successful execution of scope, schedule, and budget. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to generate repeat business opportunities. Coordinate closely with field leadership, superintendents, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Conduct site visits, client meetings, and project reviews throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project financial performance and proactively address risks and challenges. Support business development initiatives by leveraging industry relationships and market knowledge. Oversee customer follow-up and post-project service to strengthen long-term partnerships. Travel regularly to project sites and client locations within approximately two hours of the Grover, NC area.The Successful ApplicantMust-Have Qualifications: Experience as a Project Manager within commercial or industrial construction. Proven ability to manage projects through all phases of construction. Strong understanding of estimating, budgeting, and project financial management. Experience coordinating with owners, subcontractors, and field operations teams. Ability to travel regularly throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and surrounding markets. Strong communication, relationship-building, and client-facing skills.Preferred Experience: Background in preconstruction and estimating. Experience supporting business development efforts and generating new opportunities. Experience managing light industrial upfit projects. Exposure to small commercial projects including retail, restaurant, and institutional work.
