Description

Lead Complex Electrical Engineering Projects

This is a highly visible technical leadership position responsible for driving the execution of complex electrical engineering projects throughout the product lifecycle. Working closely with engineering leaders, technical experts, manufacturing, supply chain, product management, and other stakeholders, the successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned with business objectives while maintaining strong technical and process discipline.

  • Lead cross-functional electrical engineering projects from concept through release and sustaining support.
  • Facilitate technical reviews, manage schedules, risks, dependencies, and engineering change activities.
  • Drive collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, and commercial functions.
  • Coordinate project recovery plans, remove execution barriers, and proactively mitigate delivery risks.
  • Maintain visibility of project health through regular stakeholder communication, reporting, and milestone tracking.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Project Manager combined with a proven track record of leading complex technical projects within a product development environment. They will be a highly organized leader who can influence diverse stakeholders, drive accountability across cross-functional teams, and successfully manage competing priorities while maintaining project momentum.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience leading technical projects involving hardware development, product releases, and engineering change management.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, risk management, design reviews, and cross-functional execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence technical teams and stakeholders without direct management authority.
  • Experience working within structured product development environments using tools such as Planview, Jira, Jama, or Microsoft Project.
