Project Manager (Electrical)

Professional development is actively encouraged, with clear and achievable career progression from Project Manager through to Project Lead and Operations Director.The RoleThe Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for the safe, profitable and timely delivery of electrical (and wider MEP) projects, ensuring quality standards are met while exceeding client expectations.Key responsibilities include:Managing electrical project delivery from pre‑construction through to completion and final accountOperational management of project design elements in collaboration with the in‑house design and engineering teamsProactively planning, managing and monitoring directly employed labour and subcontractorsBuilding, controlling and forecasting labour and project budgetsManaging project programmes in conjunction with the in‑house planning departmentProviding front‑end and pre‑construction support where requiredLeading, developing and mentoring site teams, identifying talent and encouraging progression within the workforceProducing and managing contract documentation including method statements, risk assessments, RFIs and technical submissionsChairing and contributing to progress meetings with clients, consultants and key stakeholdersEnsuring electrical systems are installed, tested and commissioned in accordance with specifications, legislation and best practicePreparing project handover documentation including O&M manuals and record drawingsMaintaining strong professional relationships with clients and supporting ongoing client developmentEnsuring all works are delivered in line with FES Group's Integrated Management SystemsPromoting a strong Health & Safety culture and ensuring company policies and procedures are strictly adhered toDriving a "zero defects" and right‑first‑time approach to project deliveryKey Skills & ExperienceProven experience in an Electrical Project Manager role within the construction industryExperience working with Tier 1 main contractorsStrong understanding of design and build procurement routesIn‑depth knowledge of M&E systems and construction processesDemonstrable track record of successfully managing teams and delivering electrical installationsExperience producing contract documentation and technical submissionsUnderstanding of commissioning, handover and close‑out processesExperience with off‑site fabrication and modern methods of constructionStrong Health & Safety leadership on live construction sitesCommercially aware with strong cost control and budget management skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesFlexible approach with the ability to travel between office and site locationsMechanical experience is advantageous but not essential.#J-18808-Ljbffr
