This is a tremendous opportunity for a motivatedperson.Grunau is looking for an Electrical and Controls Project Manager to join our driven and dedicated team.Key Responsibilities- Project Planning Develop comprehensive project plans timelines and budgets.Establish project objectives specifications and deliverables.- Team Coordination Leadcoordinate cross-functional teams includingengineers technicians contractors and vendors to execute project tasks efficientlyestimatingcreating proposals for HVAC control systems BAS and line voltage electrical systems.- Client Interaction Serve as the primary point of contact for clients ensuring clearcommunication of project status milestones and any issues that may arise.- Risk Management Identify potential project risks and create mitigation strategiesto minimize their impact.- Quality Assurance Ensure that projects comply with industry standardsregulations and company quality standards.- Budget Management Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to approvedbudgets. Work with accounting to book jobswork orders change orders andfinancially forecast jobs.- Progress Reporting Prepare and present regular reports on project statusprogress and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.- Subcontracts Request bids from award and manage subcontracts.- Labor Management Management of NAC engineering and technician labor forsubmittals material order programming graphic development and commissioning.You are our ideal candidate if you love a challenge and experiencing something new everyday. You also meet most if not all of the following requirements- Education Bachelors degree in Engineering Project Management or a relatedField or equivalent field experience.- Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in project managementparticularly in building automation or a related industry or sufficient field experience.- Project Management Skills Excellent organizational problem-solving andcommunication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines- Technical Skills Proficient in readingdeveloping HVAC control and electricalJob plans and specifications. Wiring and equipment schematics. Control strategies. Microsoft Office Word and Excel knowledge of Share Point a plus Reading interpreting and implementing electrical codes Preferred experience Digital HVAC control or related systems design andor installationManaging installation of digital control or related systems. Designing and applying digital control electrical equipment and gear or related systems.
