About Our Client
My client has maintained an outstanding reputation as a leader in the construction industry, dedicated to achieving the highest standards of service. They are a $60M-$80M mid-size firm that specializes in the Education, Healthcare, Entertainment, and Commercial markets. They are focused on delivering high-quality solutions on projects ranging from $2M-$15M. The Project Manager will have the ability to be involved in projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Job Description
- Leads project teams to ensure timely execution of all assigned tasks.
- Establishes project budgets and manages cost.
- Coaches, mentors, develops, and trains project management teams.
- Maintains knowledge of contract requirements and addresses complex obstacles.
- Maintains positive relationships with clients, owners, subcontractors, and design teams.
- Ensures all risk management controls are implemented.
- Manage and oversee construction projects from planning through completion.
- Responsible for forecasting, tracking/reporting project costs/revenue and adherence to project estimate.
- Responsible for problem resolution involving labor disputes, staffing, construction materials, construction equipment and contracts/subcontracts administration.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 5+ years of construction experience
- Commercial ground-up experience ($2M-$30M)
- Estimating experience preferred
- Ability to work autonomously and manage project from full cradle to grave
- Familiarity with construction safety regulations and compliance requirements
- A detail-oriented mindset with excellent organization and planning skills
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities to manage teams effectively
