    Summary

    Our Client is looking for a Project Manager – Drywall Division to join their Charlotte, NC team. If you have extensive experience developing, overseeing, and completing commercial construction projects, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization.

    About Our Client

    Our Client is a growing construction company providing services across the Southeastern, Mid-Atlantic, and New England markets. The company has more than 60 years of experience in drywall, masonry, concrete/masonry restoration, Divisions 8 & 10, structural strengthening, and building envelope restoration.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Project Management

    1. Develop accurate project budgets using historical data from previous projects.
    2. Periodically visit pending and active projects to ensure proper field methods and maintain comprehensive knowledge of each project.
    3. Maintain knowledge of local material, labor, and equipment costs.
    4. Oversee and track all labor on each project, including outside subcontractors and internal labor resources.
    5. Provide predetermined project deliverables in a timely manner, including verification of completed work.
    6. Manage and develop team members to support their professional growth within the organization.
    7. Represent the company professionally in all aspects of project and site operations.
    8. Maintain strong client relationships at the project level.

    Position Requirements

    Education and Experience

    1. B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Finance, or Accounting is preferred.
    2. 3+ years of Project Management experience with a substantial estimating background, including 2+ years as an Assistant Estimator.
    3. MBA is a plus.

    Success Factors

    1. Experience in marketing, sales, or client development and relationship management.
    2. Experience working for a commercial drywall subcontractor or general contractor (GC).
    3. Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.
    4. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed goals with minimal supervision.
    5. Self-motivated with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    6. Commitment to personal and professional standards of excellence.
    7. Position requires working in the office or at active job sites.
