About the Role A specialized door supply company serving large-scale building projects is looking for a detail-oriented Project Manager to join their small, established team. This role owns the full order lifecycle — from precise manufacturer specifications to customer and vendor coordination — and offers real room to grow alongside an industry expert. Key Responsibilities
Order Processing & Documentation
- Input and verify detailed product specifications and measurements through manufacturer ordering systems
- Cross-check purchase order acknowledgments against internal records to catch and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accuracy across high volumes of unique, project-specific orders
Project & Customer Coordination
- Serve as a main point of contact for customer inquiries, providing updates and gathering project specifications
- Coordinate communication between customers, architects, and internal staff to keep projects on track
- Manage timelines and proactively address customer concerns regarding scheduling, changes, or rush requests
Internal & Vendor Coordination
- Work closely with the internal measuring team to ensure timely and accurate site measurements
- Monitor shipment timelines and coordinate with manufacturers to ensure on-time delivery
- Partner with senior team members to build product knowledge and take on greater ownership of vendor relationships over time
Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of experience in a related industry (doors, glass, cabinetry, or similar detail-oriented trades)
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, precision-based data entry
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, detail-driven office environment
