This is an opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who enjoys taking ownership of complex projects, building strong relationships, solving problems before they become issues, and keeping projects moving from early planning through completion.

Job Details

What You'll Do:

Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules.
Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Monitor project budgets, commitments, change orders, invoices, and overall financial performance.
Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project documentation.
Identify potential schedule, cost, quality, and coordination issues early and develop practical solutions.
Manage bidding, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and contract administration.
Conduct and/or participate in project meetings and communicate action items clearly.
Track project progress and provide consistent updates to clients and leadership.
Coordinate field activities and work closely with site personnel to maintain project momentum.
Help maintain high standards for safety, quality, workmanship, and professionalism.
Assist with estimating, budgeting, value engineering, and project planning when needed.
Manage project documentation throughout the construction process.
Coordinate inspections, punch lists, turnover, commissioning, and project closeout.
Build productive long-term relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and project partners.
Take ownership of problems and follow them through to resolution.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of experience in commercial construction or construction management.
Demonstrated experience managing commercial projects from preconstruction through completion.
Strong understanding of construction documents, contracts, schedules, budgets, and project coordination.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and civil drawings.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Comfortable communicating directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
Proficiency with common construction/project management software and Microsoft Office.
A proactive approach to identifying risks and resolving issues.
Professional judgment and the ability to work independently.
