We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist / Construction Scheduler to support large-scale construction projects by overseeing schedule development, integration, and performance tracking. This role is responsible for managing project schedules in Primavera P6 , ensuring vendor accountability, monitoring schedule quality, and providing visibility into project progress through reporting and dashboards.

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist / Construction Scheduler to support large-scale construction projects by overseeing schedule development, integration, and performance tracking. This role is responsible for managing project schedules in Primavera P6, ensuring vendor accountability, monitoring schedule quality, and providing visibility into project progress through reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee construction project schedules using Primavera P6
• Receive, review, and integrate vendor schedules into a comprehensive master project schedule
• Monitor schedule adherence and hold vendors accountable to committed milestones and delivery dates
• Identify schedule risks, conflicts, and performance issues, and work directly with vendors to drive corrective actions
• Track workforce and resource availability across vendor crews
• Maintain scheduling dashboards and provide ongoing schedule reporting
• Communicate scheduling impacts, delays, and forecast changes to internal stakeholders
• Ensure schedule quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements
• Support capital forecasting efforts through accurate schedule management
• Prepare project documentation, status reports, and executive-level updates
• Collaborate with project teams and vendor partners to ensure successful project execution

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction scheduling experience
• Extensive hands-on experience with Primavera P6
• Experience managing, integrating, and maintaining large project schedules
• Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles and scheduling methodologies
• Experience with SAP
• Advanced Microsoft Excel reporting and data analysis skills
• Experience with Business Objects reporting
• Proven ability to hold vendors accountable to schedule commitments and performance expectations
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
