Are you passionate about construction and project management? Do you have a knack for overseeing complex projects from start to finish, ensuring high standards of workmanship and efficiency? We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the chance to work on a variety of construction projects, managing teams, budgets, and timelines. You will be the driving force behind our projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to our clients' satisfaction.
As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, from initiation to closure.
2. Managing and coordinating with teams for smooth execution of projects.
3. Monitoring project progress, addressing potential issues and proposing solutions.
4. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
5. Preparing, coordinating and managing RFIs, RFPs, and submittals.
6. Managing change orders and ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
7. Developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules.
8. Controlling project costs and ensuring completion within budget.
9. Leading project meetings and setting expectations for project team.
10. Developing and implementing risk management plans.
11. Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
12. Implementing and managing project communication plans.
13. Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff.
14. Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary.
15. Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in managing the RFI process, RFP, submittals, and change orders.
4. Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
5. Understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
6. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
7. Proficient in MS Office, project management software, and database management.
8. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
9. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
10. A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Outstanding negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
12. Ability to work in a high-stress environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
13. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
