Job Description

The Project Manager - Data Centers - Gainesville, VA will be responsible for:

• Help lead the tenant fit-out of a 200,000-square-foot hyperscale data center campus.
• Manage project execution from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership to establish processes, procedures, and best practices for the company's growing data center division.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive project planning, procurement, schedule management, risk mitigation, and change management efforts.
• Participate in strategic decision-making as the organization expands its data center presence.
• Maintain strong client relationships while serving as a key point of contact throughout project execution.
• Support the long-term growth and development of the division through operational and project leadership.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager - Data Centers - Gainesville, VA should have:

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects (PM level) or 8+ years of experience (SPM level).
• Previous experience delivering mission critical, data center, healthcare, advanced technology, or other complex commercial construction projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and contract administration.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help build and grow a new business division.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
