Project Manager - Data Center Construction

Council Bluffs and the greater Omaha area have quietly become one of the busiest hyperscale data center corridors in the Midwest, with large campuses still expanding along the Missouri River. A well-established general contractor is looking for a Project Manager – Data Center Construction to help deliver that work. What You'll Do

• Lead data center and mission-critical projects from preconstruction and procurement through commissioning and turnover
• Own budgets, forecasts, change orders and schedules so there are no surprises
• Work hand in hand with owners, engineers and electrical, mechanical and controls trade partners
• Plan phased work on active campuses with safety and uptime front and center
• Team up with superintendents on quality, safety and site logistics
• Coach and develop project engineers and assistant project managers

What You Bring

• Project management experience with a general contractor, including data center or mission-critical work (required)
• Working knowledge of critical power, cooling, MEP coordination and integrated systems testing
• Strong scheduling, cost control and organization habits
• An easygoing, clear communication style with owners and field crews alike
• A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
