Description
Title: Project Manager
Location: Dallas, TX (genuinely comfortable being downtown Dallas 3 days/week.)- Junior-to-mid-level IT Project Manager, probably ~2 6 years of relevant experience. I wouldn't over-index on PMP/certifications.
- Core background: Has managed IT projects or cross-functional technology initiatives and understands the fundamentals: scope, milestones, dependencies, risks/issues, status reporting, stakeholder communication, follow-up, and meeting cadence.
- Most important trait: A high-agency executor. Someone who chases down owners, closes loops, keeps projects moving, and doesn't need constant direction.
- People skills: Comfortable coordinating technical and nontechnical stakeholders and capable of running a weekly IT-wide project synchronization meeting.
- AI fluency: Actual working familiarity with Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or comparable AI tools. Bonus points if they can explain how they use AI for meeting summaries, project plans, status reporting, documentation, requirements, etc.
- Nice-to-have: Military/veteran background or a similar structured, accountable operating environment.
