Project Manager (Architecture) – Dallas, TX

Lead design-driven projects where architecture, coordination, and field execution come together to deliver real impact. This office-based Project Manager role in Dallas focuses on guiding multidisciplinary architectural projects through documentation, permitting, bidding, and construction phases—with Revit proficiency and hands-on support for Construction Administration—while offering benefits that prioritize your growth, balance, and long-term success.

Why This Role Benefits You
  • Career acceleration: focused mentorship and clear advancement pathways.
  • Competitive compensation: strong base pay and 401(k)
  • Health and wellbeing from day one: medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Time that truly recharges: generous PTO and paid holidays.
  • Tools that elevate your craft: Revit-first workflows, Bluebeam, MS Project/Smartsheet, and Power BI dashboards.
  • Tangible impact: deliver architecture-led projects that shape the Dallas skyline and community spaces.

About the Opportunity

As a Project Manager in an architectural setting based in Dallas, you will manage active projects primarily through construction documents, permitting, bidding, and construction administration support—not full cradle-to-grave ownership. You will not be responsible for schematic design or design development. Instead, you’ll take over projects post-design handoff, coordinating Revit-based documentation, aligning consultants and contractors, maintaining schedules and budgets, and supporting CA alongside senior CA leads to protect design intent and keep delivery on track.

What You’ll Do
  • Own project execution from CD through closeout: scope, schedule, fee, and risk management for assigned phases.
  • Support Construction Administration: coordinate RFIs/submittals, prepare ASIs/addenda, track change orders and pay apps, manage punchlist workflows, and participate in OAC meetings with CA leadership.
  • Direct Revit coordination: establish model strategy for CDs, oversee clash detection, drive interdisciplinary reconciliation, and manage timely drawing issuances.
  • Drive quality: support code compliance reviews, QA/QC checks, and permitting packages; coordinate with AHJs and track approvals.
  • Align stakeholders: manage client updates, guide consultants (MEP/structural/civil), and collaborate with contractors on constructability and logistics.
  • Control performance: maintain budgets, forecast EAC, monitor fee burn, and implement corrective actions on variances.
  • Communicate clearly: deliver concise status reports, decision logs, meeting minutes, and visual dashboards.

What You Bring
  • 6–12 years within an architectural practice managing projects through CDs, permitting, bidding, and CA support.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Construction Administration (RFIs, submittals, ASIs, addenda, change management) in collaboration with CA leads.
  • Revit proficiency for production and multidisciplinary coordination; Bluebeam expertise preferred.
  • Industrial and warehouse project experience is a plus.
  • Strong command of schedule management, fee/budget control, risk frameworks, and change management.
  • Excellent communication, client leadership, and consultant management; confident presenting to executives and public stakeholders.
  • Professional registration is a plus but not required; Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture or related field preferred; PMP/LEED a plus.

Benefits and Perks
  • Competitive salary
  • 401(k)
  • Medical, dental, vision coverage
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays
  • Community impact opportunities and design-focused ERGs

What Success Looks Like
  • On-time, on-budget delivery across CD, permitting, bidding, and CA support phases
  • Revit-driven coordination that reduces clashes, RFIs, and change orders
  • Proactive CA support that accelerates closeout and protects design intent
  • Satisfied clients, positive contractor relationships, and strong team morale
  • Documented process improvements adopted across the studio

Work Location
  • Office-based in Dallas, TX; regional site visits as project needs dictate.
