Project Manager

A well-established contractor in Dallas is seeking aProject Manager with experience in publicly funded multifamily or affordable housing construction. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has supported housing renovation projects and is ready to take on greater project responsibility.

The ideal candidate understands the additional coordination and documentation required when working in occupied residential communities and on projects involving public agencies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project schedules, budgets and documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and project teams
• Assist with contracts, change orders, RFIs and submittals
• Communicate with owners, architects and agency representatives
• Coordinate construction activities around occupied residential units
• Help maintain resident safety and minimize disruptions
• Monitor project progress, quality and compliance requirements
• Support projects from preconstruction through closeout

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience
• Experience with affordable housing, publicly funded multifamily or occupied renovation projects
• Previous experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager
• Working knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders and project scheduling
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is preferred
• Construction Management, Engineering or related degree is preferred but not required
