Own the Project. Lead the Build. Deliver the Result.

If you’re an experienced construction professional who knows how to take a project from scope to completion—managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, customers, and the unexpected, we want to talk to you.

Paul Davis Restoration is looking for an experienced Reconstruction Project Manager to lead residential and commercial reconstruction projects following fire, water, storm, and other property losses.

This is not a desk-only project management role. You’ll own your projects from start to finish, balancing what’s happening in the field with budgets, schedules, subcontractors, documentation, and customer expectations.

Restoration experience is valuable, but it isn’t the only path to success here. We’re interested in experienced professionals from residential construction, remodeling, general contracting, insurance reconstruction, and commercial construction who know how to run projects and get results.

What You’ll Own

As a Reconstruction Project Manager, you’ll have responsibility for the successful execution and financial performance of multiple projects, including:

  • Managing reconstruction projects from approved scope through final completion
  • Planning project schedules, sequencing trades, and keeping work moving
  • Coordinating and managing subcontractors, vendors, materials, and resources
  • Conducting regular site visits to verify progress, workmanship, safety, and schedule
  • Managing job costs, budgets, change orders, and overall project profitability
  • Reviewing scopes, estimates, plans, and project documentation to ensure work is completed accurately
  • Setting clear expectations with customers and providing consistent communication throughout the project
  • Identifying problems early and making decisions that keep projects on track
  • Partnering with internal estimating, operations, mitigation, and administrative teams
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and ensuring jobs are closed out efficiently
  • Building strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and insurance partners
The Experience We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who already understands what it takes to manage construction—not someone who needs to learn the fundamentals of running a project.

Strong candidates will bring:

  • Proven project management experience in reconstruction, restoration, residential construction, remodeling, general contracting, or commercial construction
  • Hands-on experience managing multiple active construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, materials, and trades
  • Experience managing subcontractors and holding partners accountable for quality and timelines
  • Experience with project budgets, job costing, change orders, and profitability
  • Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, estimates, plans, and construction documents
  • Strong customer communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence making decisions and taking ownership when challenges arise
  • Strong organization and follow-through in a fast-moving environment
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

This Role May Be a Great Fit If You’re Coming From:

  • Restoration or insurance reconstruction
  • Residential remodeling or homebuilding
  • General contracting
  • Commercial construction
  • Exterior restoration or storm-related construction
  • A construction superintendent or field leadership role with strong project management responsibility
If you know how to manage the build, lead subcontractors, control costs, communicate with customers, and drive a project to completion, we can teach you the restoration-specific side of the business.

Why Paul Davis?

Construction is what we do, but the reason behind the work is different.

Our customers often come to us after a fire, flood, storm, or other unexpected property loss. They need more than a contractor. They need someone who can take control of the reconstruction process, communicate clearly, solve problems, and help move their property—and their lives—forward.

For an experienced Project Manager, that means challenging work, variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to see the direct impact of the projects you lead.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary
  • Performance and bonus opportunities
  • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance, where applicable
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Training and professional development
  • Career advancement within a growing restoration organization
Ready for Your Next Project?

If you’ve built your career managing construction projects and are ready for a role where you can take real ownership of the work, we’d like to hear from you.

Apply today and bring your construction experience to a company where every project has a purpose beyond the build.
