Project Manager - Commercial Construction
Full-Time | Direct Hire
Compensation: $80,000 - $150,000 per year
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, client relationships, and overall project execution while ensuring quality, safety, and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects through all phases of construction.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular project updates.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, billing, and project documentation.
- Coordinate subcontractor procurement, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Monitor project performance and proactively address schedule, budget, and quality concerns.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety standards.
- Oversee project closeout, punch lists, and final turnover.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and client relationships.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred
- General contractor experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and construction management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
