Our client is a well-established General Contractor specializing in ground-up multifamily, mixed-use, and residential developments throughout Connecticut. As a Project Manager - Construction - New London, you will be responsible for:

• Managing ground-up multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Developing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
• Coordinating architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and ownership teams
• Managing procurement, contract administration, and subcontractor buyouts
• Reviewing and processing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Monitoring project costs and maintaining financial controls
• Leading project meetings and providing regular project updates
• Collaborating closely with Superintendents to ensure successful field execution
• Managing project documentation, reporting, and project controls
• Identifying project risks and implementing proactive solutions
• Coordinating inspections, approvals, and turnover activities
• Ensuring all work meets project specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations
• Supporting successful project closeout and owner handoff

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of Project Management experience within construction
• Extensive experience managing ground-up multifamily construction projects
• Experience with garden-style, podium, wrap, mixed-use, or luxury multifamily developments preferred
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and cost control experience
• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and project teams
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project execution
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
