Our client is a leading concrete contractor specializing in flatwork and structural concrete projects. Based in New Jersey, the company delivers a wide range of concrete solutions, including footings and foundations, slab-on-grade construction, cold storage slabs, 3D concrete paving, exterior concrete paving, pervious concrete paving, and tilt-up panels.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple concrete construction projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinate project planning, scheduling, procurement, and execution.
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements.
  • Work closely with field superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Monitor project budgets, cost controls, and profitability.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to meet client expectations.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Support estimating and preconstruction efforts when needed.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges before they impact schedule or budget.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • 2-5 years of project management experience in construction, concrete, civil, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of commercial concrete construction practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
