Unlike many larger contractors, they have built their reputation through exceptional client service, repeat business, and long-term partnerships throughout the Chicagoland market.Job DescriptionManage commercial and multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and monthly cost forecasts. Lead subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and procurement efforts. Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Coordinate project activities with Superintendents, ownership groups, consultants, and subcontractors. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Lead Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings and provide regular project updates. Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions. Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. 7-12 years of experience with a General Contractor or Construction Manager. Experience managing commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, adaptive reuse, or tenant improvement projects. Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, and project controls. Experience working directly with owners, architects, and developers. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software. Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills. Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.What's on OfferCompetitive base salary of $125,000 - $150,000. Annual performance bonus.
