Located in Overland Park, Kansas, my client serves as a general contracting firm with a focus on the commercial market sector. They handle every stage of the project from the conceptual stage until closeout. Projects are a mix of ground up and tenant finishes from $500,000 to $10M.
Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement activities. Lead client communications and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, design teams, and ownership groups. Review drawings, specifications, estimates, and project scopes to ensure successful execution. Drive project financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, and change management. Support bidding, budgeting, and preconstruction efforts on future projects. Operate autonomously while serving as a key leader within the project management team. Work directly alongside company leadership and help support future company growth.

5+ years of project management experience. Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field. Experience overseeing projects up to $10M. Ability to work autonomously and manage project from full cradle to grave. Familiarity with construction safety regulations and compliance requirements. A detail-oriented mindset with excellent organization and planning skills. Collaborative approach and execution.
