Job Description

The Project Manager - Commercial Interiors - Maryland will:

  • Manage multiple commercial interior construction projects simultaneously from kickoff through project completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project execution plans.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal project teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead client meetings and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project costs, change orders, procurement activities, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Partner closely with Superintendents and field staff to ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
  • Review construction documents, contracts, and project specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage project closeout activities, including punch lists, final documentation, and client turnover.
  • Support business growth through exceptional client service and repeat business opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

The Project Manager - Commercial Interiors - Maryland will have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
  • Proven experience managing corporate interior construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, scheduling, and project controls.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and project teams.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing project execution from start to finish.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be comfortable working in-office while regularly visiting project sites.
