Description

The Project Manager - Commercial & Healthcare Pipeline - Columbia will be responsible for:

  • Review plans, specifications, and client requirements
  • Initiate RFIs to resolve field issues and design discrepancies
  • Process, review, and track submittals
  • Evaluate design and shop drawings for cost and schedule impact
  • Prepare subcontractor scope letters and initiate change orders
  • Solicit bids and perform estimates with detailed cost breakdowns
  • Maintain procurement, submittal, and RFI logs
  • Assist with scheduling and track daily production
  • Coordinate communication between design and construction teams
  • Lead and mentor project management staff

Profile

The Project Manager - Commercial & Healthcare Pipeline - Columbia should have:

  • 5+ Years as a Project Manager with a General Contractor
  • Experience managing commercial projects - $1M - $20M+ ideally
  • Applicable construction software knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Offer

Requirements 5+ years of construction Project Manager experience with a general contractor is required Experience on ground-up education, healthcare, and/or commercial construction projects is required Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant degree preferred Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred Developed thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project success Maintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractors Must be a business-oriented person and act professionally when representing the employer at any level Local to Charlotte preferred, though relocators will be considered
