We are seeking a Project Manager for our Commercial Construction division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing, planning, and managing construction projects from start to finish. This role demands a high level of responsibility and commitment, and requires a professional who is adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and is passionate about achieving excellence in the field of commercial construction.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including conception, design, procurement, construction, and completion.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Manage contracts, negotiations, and relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and building codes to ensure project accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate and direct construction teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Oversee procurement and management of construction materials.
  • Conduct project estimations and manage change orders.
  • Represent the owner in all aspects of the construction process.
  • Manage project bidding, submittals, and construction scheduling.
  • Ensure site safety and manage on-site activities.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction management.
  • Experience with Fortune 500 companies and/or with tenant improvement (TI) projects
  • Proven experience in risk and contract management, procurement, negotiation, blueprint reading, contract negotiation, construction management, budget management, pre-construction, project estimation, change orders, team leadership, construction drawings, materials management, building codes, project coordination, site management, construction scheduling, project bidding, submittals, construction estimating, and owner representation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and coordinate work teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and project resources effectively.
  • Proficient in relevant software and technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or CCM are an advantage.
  • A proven track record of managing large-scale commercial construction projects to successful completion.
