Lead Projects. Drive Performance. Build Your Future.

At Williams Company, we believe the best Project Managers don't just manage projects-they own them. From client relationships to financial performance, you are at the center of delivering successful work and building long-term partnerships.

As a 100% employee-owned company (ESOP), every decision you make impacts not only your project, but your future and the future of your teammates. If you're looking for a role where your performance directly ties to your growth and long-term wealth, you'll find it here.

We are seeking a Project Manager (PM I or PM II) in the Orlando market who brings strong construction knowledge, financial discipline, and a proactive leadership mindset.

What You'll Do

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the overall success of the project-financially, operationally, and relationally-from preconstruction through closeout.

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead projects from buyout through final completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
  • Partner closely with Superintendents to drive field execution and maintain project momentum
  • Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and keep projects on track

Financial Management & Accountability

  • Own project financial performance including budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, and profitability
  • Manage subcontracts, change orders, and cost control processes with precision and urgency
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial reporting in alignment with company standards

Client & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and key stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships through consistent communication and follow-through
  • Navigate challenges professionally while protecting the company's interests and reputation

Preconstruction & Procurement

  • Participate in preconstruction planning, scope development, and buyout strategies
  • Ensure subcontractor alignment with project expectations, scope, and schedule
  • Collaborate with estimating and operations to support seamless project transitions

Contract & Risk Management

  • Understand and manage contract terms, scope clarifications, and project risks
  • Lead change order negotiations and issue resolution in a manner that protects project outcomes
  • Elevate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership of day-to-day decisions

What We're Looking For

We're looking for Project Managers who combine technical construction knowledge with strong business acumen. You understand that success is measured not just by completing the work-but by how well the project performs and how the client experiences it.

Project Manager I

  • Experience managing small to moderate complexity projects or supporting larger projects
  • Solid understanding of project financials, scheduling, and subcontractor management
  • Ability to operate independently while continuing to develop leadership and decision-making skills

Project Manager II

  • Proven success managing moderate to high-complexity projects from start to finish
  • Advanced financial management capabilities with consistent delivery of strong project outcomes
  • Ability to lead multiple stakeholders, navigate challenges, and drive project performance proactively

Core Expectations for All Candidates

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and contract management
  • Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
  • Clear, professional communication with clients, field teams, and internal partners
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to travel as needed based on project demands
