Job Details

We are hiring a Project Manager to lead fast-paced, high-spec tenant improvement projects across Orange County, CA .

Responsibilities:

Lead all aspects of project execution from preconstruction through closeout
Oversee project scheduling, subcontractor management, cost control, and logistics planning
Handle subcontractor buyout and contract execution in coordination with estimating and operations
Manage all project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and pay applications
Interface directly with clients, design teams, consultants, and in-house staff to ensure clear communication and alignment
Proactively identify issues and drive resolution to maintain schedule, quality, and budget targets
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, support field teams, and ensure project milestones are being met

Requirements:

3-12 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, with a focus on commercial tenant improvements
Proven track record delivering work in life science, healthcare, cleanrooms, commercial offices, or higher education
Strong knowledge of MEP systems and how to coordinate them in tight, schedule-driven conditions
Experience managing multiple subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams across active job sites
Proficiency in Procore is preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to lead meetings and drive accountability
