    Description

    A leader in commercial mechanical services is hiring a Project Manager to oversee commercial HVAC, plumbing, retrofit, and design-build projects in the Harrisburg, PA area. This position is responsible for managing projects from initial award through final closeout, with a strong focus on scheduling, budgeting, field coordination, customer communication, and overall project performance.

    The Project Manager will work closely with field personnel, foremen, subcontractors, operations, and customers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. Regular jobsite presence and hands-on coordination are an important part of the role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Manage multiple commercial mechanical construction projects from project award through completion and closeout.
    - Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, execution plans, and overall project timelines.
    - Coordinate field labor, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and other resources required for successful project execution.
    - Monitor project costs, billings, forecasts, change orders, and financial performance to help maintain project profitability.
    - Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope documentation to identify requirements, risks, and potential changes.
    - Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor project progress, quality, productivity, and adherence to established standards.
    - Serve as a primary point of contact for customers while maintaining effective communication with internal operations and field teams.
    - Identify project issues and develop timely solutions to keep work progressing efficiently.
    - Provide leadership and accountability to field teams and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
    - Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate project status, issues, and financial information to appropriate stakeholders.



    Job Requirements

    Qualifications:

    - 3-5+ years of project management experience within commercial HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical construction.
    - Working knowledge of construction scheduling, project documentation, cost controls, billing, forecasting, and financial tracking.
    - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedules, budgets, and customer expectations.
    - Previous experience directing field personnel and subcontractors and holding project teams accountable for results.
    - Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
    - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with field teams, engineers, general contractors, and customers.
    - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with Bluebeam, Navisworks, or other construction/project management software is preferred.
    - High school diploma or equivalent required; technical, trade, or related education is preferred.
    - Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
    - Ability and willingness to maintain a regular presence at active commercial jobsites.
