Project Manager - Commercial Construction

A well-respected commercial builder in Chicago's western suburbs is hiring a Project Manager to run commercial projects such as office, retail, healthcare, and light industrial work. You'll lead your jobs from preconstruction through closeout with a team that values clear communication and doing the work right.

What You'll Do

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage budgets, schedules, buyout, subcontracts, and change orders
• Work side by side with superintendents to keep projects safe, on schedule, and on budget
• Serve as the main point of contact for owners, architects, and subcontractors
• Run owner and subcontractor meetings and keep project documentation organized
• Track costs, forecast accurately, and raise risks early

What You Bring

• 5+ years of project management experience with a commercial general contractor
• A track record delivering ground-up or interior commercial projects
• Strong command of budgets, scheduling, and contract administration
• Comfort with Procore, MS Project or P6, and Microsoft Office
• Clear, steady communication with owners, design teams, and field staff
• A degree in construction management or a related field is a plus

What We Offer
