Description
- Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
- Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation
- Monitor project costs and financial performance
- Identify and mitigate project risks and potential issues
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
- Manage subcontractor performance and contractual obligations
- Work closely with field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners
- Support preconstruction, estimating, and business development activities where required
Profile
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgets, scheduling, and project controls
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple project stakeholders
- Strong communication and client-management skills
- Ability to manage projects independently while working collaboratively with field teams
- Proficiency with common construction management software and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
