Description

You will oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion, managing budgets, schedules, contracts, clients, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commercial construction background, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to successfully deliver projects while maintaining strong client relationships.

Description

  • Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and procurement
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation
  • Monitor project costs and financial performance
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and potential issues
  • Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
  • Manage subcontractor performance and contractual obligations
  • Work closely with field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners
  • Support preconstruction, estimating, and business development activities where required

Profile

  • Proven experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgets, scheduling, and project controls
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multiple project stakeholders
  • Strong communication and client-management skills
  • Ability to manage projects independently while working collaboratively with field teams
  • Proficiency with common construction management software and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
