    The Field Service Technician will work out of Danieli Corporation Ashland, KY Service Center and travel potentially up to 50-70% of the time visiting customer sites, vendors and training opportunities.

    • Field Service Technician shall perform 'advisory' services
    • Hand tools: Technician must be able to use various hand tools to perform dismantling, setup, measurements and analysis of guide systems. This knowledge will be used to perform advisory services; not to perform the work
    • Services rendered will maintain the design criteria established by Danieli design engineers
    • Changes to equipment shall be discussed with Danieli management, prior to suggesting any changes
    • Control the work site to assure safety and final objectives
    • Drawings: Able to identify level of drawings and work within the Danieli drawings system.
    • Able to research drawings and other data to help resolve customer problems or questions
    • Computers:
    • Work within usual/customary MS Office software, i.e., Excel, Word, Project Management, Publish, (etc.) to perform assignments, filing and archiving of work
    • Planning: Evaluate site information, or distributed information and develop respective drawings and data
    • Maintain records of work
    • After assignments, technician shall have customer sign worksheets depicting hours and objectives performed. Engineer shall submit timesheet, expenses and customer report within 3 business days. All reports will follow company guidelines. Engineer shall use any data systems supplied by company for time and expense reporting.
    • 1-3 years' experience in industrial maintenance, being an automotive service technician/mechanic, or any other equivalent experience
    • Solid technical knowledge and experience
    • Able to solve most technical issues and minimal direction
    • Able to communicate technical issues effectively to customers
    • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
    • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
    • Experienced at dealing with multiple activities with minimum direction
    • Abide by OSHA Safety Standards
    • Willing to travel up to 70% internationally or domestically for training, customer sites, and vendor workshops.

    Electricians must be committed to their own personal safety as well as the safety of others around them. Electricians are required to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems, while working individually or as a part of a team with other maintenance personnel in the following areas: electronic instrumentations/DCS, electrical distribution, pneumatic/hydraulic control systems and control valves

    Electrician will be based in the Ashland, KY Service Center and will perform a wide range of tasks to ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained.

    Some of the main tasks include:

    • Candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards always.
    • Conduct installation, maintenance, and modification, machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, including but not limited to, electrical, PLC, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
    • Perform other tasks as needed.

    Skills:

    • Safety conscious, self-motivated, proficient communication skills, exceptional work ethic and strong attention to detail
    • Highly motivated with a keen interest to further your own ability and studies.
    • Identifying problems and analyzing or reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
    • Skilled in the use of tools, machines and testing instruments used in the repair and overhaul of steelmaking plant equipment.
    • Knowledge and understanding of the basic operating principles of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic/vacuum systems and components.

    Qualifications:

    • Two-year degree in industrial electrical maintenance technology
    • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and understand electrical/electronic components / inverters
    • Proven hands-on AC & DC motors and drives, sensors, and actuators experience
    • Proven hands-on experience with Power distribution systems maintenance
    • Proven hands-on PLC systems building, programming, and troubleshooting experience
    • Knowledge of mechanical equipment with the ability to read and understand hydraulic and mechanical drawings as well as P&ID's

    Maintenance experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in a steelmaking plant with arc furnace, casting, or rolling maintenance experience
    • Being reliable, responsible, and committed to fulfilling obligations.
    • Adapts approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
    • Working as part of a coordinated effort with others to achieve a common goal.
    • Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from relevant sources
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills (English).

    Job Brief description:

    The Project Manager - A&C is responsible for supporting site personnel by managing logistical arrangements-including travel, lodging, and transportation-preparing the site for project execution, and assisting in cost tracking. This role ensures operational efficiency and contributes to the successful delivery of the project.

    Tasks and Day-to-Day activities in the role:.

    • Project Management & Cost Tracking:

    • Support the Project Manager in monitoring and reporting project costs.

    • Track logistics-related expenses and site setup costs.

    • Maintain accurate records of expenditures and assist in budget forecasting.

    • Non Conformity Reports management

    • Support of material requests (urgent supplies) coming from sites, dealing with local suppliers when it cannot be done directly from site or by parent company

    • dentify cost-saving opportunities and support procurement activities.

    • Site Preparation:

    • Assist in setting up site infrastructure such as temporary offices, utilities, and safety signage (when needed).

    • Coordinate the set up of lodging arrangements and agreements with services suppliers.

    • Ensure site readiness for each phase of the project and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

    • Logistics Support:

    • Coordinate travel arrangements for site personnel, including flights, ground transportation, and visa support.

    • Manage lodging bookings and ensure accommodations meet company standards and project requirements.

    • Organize daily transportation for staff and subcontractors to and from the site.

    • Maintain a centralized travel and accommodation schedule aligned with project timelines.

    Skills and Must Have's:

    • High school technical degree, Bachelor/Master Degree
    • Experience 3 years in the type of activity (project coordination, logistics, or site operations)
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Familiarity with project management and cost tracking tools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
