What You'll DoEffectively manage diverse projects, including occasionally large, more complex projects involving multidisciplinary teams ensuring on time, on budget, and with a focus on high-quality delivery while meeting project metricsMaintain and grow client relationships – become their trusted partnerAttend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractorsLead or assist in the development of strategy, the scope of work, evaluation of risk, and budget for projectsSupervise and provide work assignments to internal project teams and subcontractorsInteract with regulatory agencies knowing what information to provide, when, and with appropriate internal or client reviewManage and perform technical engineering work associated with land or site development including site planning and layout, entrance design, design of stormwater management, conveyance, erosion, and sediment control practices, and site gradingPrepare construction plans for agency/municipal review along with completion and submission of various land development permit applicationsWhat You'll BringBS degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institutionFour (4) or more years of experience in land development civil‑site engineeringProfessional Engineer license; optionalKnowledge of environmental regulationsProject Management experience preferredProficient with AutoCAD and Civil3DFamiliarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software and ArcGISThe starting salary for this position is $105,000, with final compensation determined based on qualifications, experience, and licensing status.BenefitsFlexible Work EnvironmentPaid Parental LeaveMedicalDentalVisionLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off + HolidaysVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
