Our client is a long-standing Chicagoland builder that has grown into a $300M+ general contractor by prioritizing strong relationships and focusing on work they can execute at a high level. They are strategic in the projects they pursue, maintain loyal repeat clients, and operate with well-structured, collaborative project teams. The company is financially solid and well-established, with annual revenue nearing $400M and a strong reputation throughout the Indianapolis market. All of their work is local to Chicago and nearby communities. Their typical projects range from $20M to $50M, with an intentional push toward larger $100M+ opportunities.
Job Description
Glimpse of your role:
- Lead large scale commercial, healthcare & education ground up projects from inception through completion
- Report directly into the Director & President of Construction
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, design teams, and subcontractors while ensuring quality and safety
- Manage contracts, RFIs, change orders, and submittals using modern project management tools
- Partner with estimating and procurement during preconstruction and support continuous improvement
- Deliver projects ranging from $20M+ within a strong, $500M+ pipeline

The Successful Applicant
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of construction project management experience, including ground-up new construction.
- Proven ability to run projects valued while managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and clients.
- Skilled in Procore, MS Project, or other project management tools.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, permitting, and construction processes; background in estimating or field supervision is a plus.

- Base salary: $125-150K, based upon experience
- All in package: $170k+
