We're partnering with a highly respected organization to identify an experienced Project Manager for a major environmental remediation project in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Description
As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Manage and coordinate project activities across multidisciplinary teams and contractors
- Support the planning and execution of capital projects and major maintenance initiatives
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and project documentation
- Review, organize, and utilize historical site records, technical documents, and drawings
- Collaborate with onsite operations personnel to support daily workflow management
- Assist with Emergency Response Plans, Business Continuity Plans, and operational programs
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and operational requirements
Profile
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within the construction industry
- Background in construction project management with either a General Contractor or Subcontractor
- Strong understanding of project planning, coordination, scheduling, and execution
- Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety requirements associated with facility operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders and contractors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project
- Environmental remediation or chemical plant project experience is plus (but not required)
