Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a rapidly growing Building Automation team. This role manages projects from concept through completion, leading engineering teams while serving as the primary customer contact. The Project Manager is responsible for project financial performance, procurement, reporting, change management, and overall execution.
Financial & Commercial Management
Own project profitability and financial performance.
Manage cost forecasts, cash flow reporting, invoicing, and change orders.
Draft and quantify project changes to maintain margin objectives.
Project Execution
Develop and maintain project schedules.
Monitor progress and forecast resource requirements.
Present scope, schedule, and staffing plans to leadership.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Risk Management
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Investigate schedule or performance issues and implement corrective actions.
Proactively address challenges impacting project success.
Customer Management
Serve as the primary commercial point of contact.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions.
Build strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Technical & Team Leadership
Lead large-scale projects or multiple concurrent projects.
Provide guidance to engineering teams and enforce quality standards.
Coordinate resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Continuous Improvement
Support enhancements to project management tools and processes.
Participate in Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives.
3-5+ years of project leadership experience as a Project Manager, Technical Lead, or similar role.
Understanding of HVAC systems within Building Automation Systems (BAS).
Familiarity with HVAC sequences of operation, P&IDs, instrumentation, and control valves.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
Experience leading internal and customer-facing meetings.
Proven planning, scheduling, and team management skills.
Experience with Building Automation and/or Industrial Controls.
Familiarity with Rockwell, Schneider Electric, AVEVA, or Ignition platforms.
Hands-on commissioning or startup experience preferred.
