Project Manager

The Project Manager will oversee luxury residential renovation projects from preconstruction through final turnover, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for ownership, architects, designers, subcontractors, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Our client is a premier Brooklyn-based general contractor specializing in luxury townhouse, brownstone, and high-end residential gut renovation projects throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. Their portfolio consists of meticulously executed renovations for high-net-worth individuals, often involving landmark properties, custom finishes, complex structural modifications, and close collaboration with top architects and designers. The company has built a strong reputation for craftsmanship, client service, and delivering exceptional projects in some of New York City's most prestigious neighborhoods. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team.

Description

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Manage multiple luxury residential renovation projects simultaneously
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and cost reporting
• Coordinate architects, designers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors
• Review drawings, specifications, and project scope requirements
• Lead project meetings and maintain regular communication with clients
• Process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement activities
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues
• Collaborate closely with Superintendents to ensure successful field execution
• Maintain the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, and client satisfaction
• Manage project closeout, punch list completion, and final turnover

Profile

A successful Project Manager should have:

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction
• Experience managing high-end residential renovations, townhomes, brownstones, luxury condominiums, or custom homes
• Strong understanding of NYC construction practices and logistics
• Experience working directly with architects, designers, and homeowners
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client expectations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
