Construction Project Manager – Bridge Maintenance & Rehabilitation

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee bridge maintenance and rehabilitation projects throughout the Eastern Region. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in bridge, heavy civil, or transportation infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader who enjoys travel, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and advancing their career with a growing contractor.

Responsibilities

  • Manage bridge maintenance and rehabilitation projects from award through closeout.
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project logistics.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely project completion.
  • Monitor project budgets, production rates, and overall profitability.
  • Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, material procurement, traffic control requests, daily reports, and project documentation.
  • Maintain communication with owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
  • Track project costs and maintain accurate project files.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Support field operations and provide leadership to project teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil, bridge, transportation, or commercial construction.
  • Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and cost control.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with Procore, Primavera P6, or similar construction software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Safety-first mindset with a strong attention to quality and detail.
  • Associate's degree in Construction Management or equivalent construction management experience preferred.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 60% throughout the Eastern Region, including assignments lasting up to two weeks at a time.
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends as project schedules require.
  • Comfortable working in both office and field environments.

  • $100,000–$140,000 base salary (depending on experience)
