Job Summary

This role owns delivery of the workstream of the Aladdin Data Cloud: the Snowflake-based data cloud that takes Aladdin (IBOR) data and serves it to every downstream consumer at the client. The role makes sure that when each entity goes live on Aladdin in 2027, every consuming system, report, and user has what they need on day one.

Key Responsibilities

Downstream Consumers

  • Build and maintain the inventory of downstream consuming systems and business groups (Finance, Risk, Treasury, Actuarial, Investment Accounting, Compliance, Performance) and the data each takes from current state today versus from Snowflake in the future state.
  • Run impact assessments with each consumer: data elements, frequency, SLAs, format changes, and the decommissioning or re-pointing of legacy feeds.
  • Secure consumer sign-off on target-state data contracts and readiness for each entity go-live.

Reporting

  • Own the reporting book of work: inventory of existing reports, rationalization, and the build of future-state reporting on Aladdin Data Cloud (Snowflake views, Aladdin Studio dashboards, extracts).
  • Manage report design, build, validation and user acceptance with report owners; coordinate with the Portfolio Support reporting function and the Finance, Metrics & Reporting lead.
  • Define report parallel-run and reconciliation approach against legacy reporting for each go-live.

Downstream Connectivity

  • Own the outbound interface build: Snowflake data shares, APIs, file feeds and scheduling from Aladdin Data Cloud to consuming systems; manage the BlackRock data cloud team and Financial Data & Technology on delivery.
  • Define interface specifications, security / entitlement model and operational support model with Infrastructure, Data Governance and Enterprise Risk.
  • Plan and run connectivity testing (interface, end-to-end, performance) with the Test Management Office; own cutover sequencing for outbound feeds at each entity go-live.

Across All Three Workstreams

  • Build and own a consolidated project plan for the three workstreams aligned to the IBOR milestone plan and SIT/UAT dates; roll it up to the program plan weekly.
  • Manage risks, issues, actions and decisions in the program logs; produce weekly workstream status and feed the bi-weekly Program Execution Status using the Health Legend.
  • Run the downstream consumers working group and represent the three workstreams at PMO and SteerCo.

Required Experience

  • 8 years project management on investment data, reporting or integration programs in asset management or insurance, including at least one delivery on a cloud data platform (Snowflake strongly preferred; Databricks or similar acceptable).
  • Experience managing large stakeholder maps: 20 consuming systems and report owners across Finance, Risk and Operations.

Required Skills

  • Strong data literacy: data contracts, entitlements, understanding of views and shares, interface specifications, reconciliation design.
  • Proficient in MS Project / Project Server, Excel, PowerPoint; comfortable in a structured PMO with formal logs, RAID and stage gates.

Benefits

  • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans
  • 401k Retirement Fund

Important Notes

  • Fingerprinting may be required for this engagement.
