Job Description

The Project Manager leads complex capital projects from initiation through completion, coordinating internal teams, external resources, and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery. This role develops and manages project scopes, schedules, and budgets, while ensuring technical feasibility and stakeholder alignment. The Project Manager drives consistent, on-time, and on-budget project execution within an industrial manufacturing environment and supports the organization's long-term growth and expansion plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal and external resources, including third parties and vendors, to execute projects from initiation through completion.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within defined scope, and within approved budget.
• Develop clear project scopes and objectives that align with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Engage all relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and ensure technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Ensure appropriate resource availability and allocation across all project phases.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress, milestones, and deliverables.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage and control changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Measure project performance using established systems, tools, and techniques, and report on progress and outcomes.
• Oversee planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities for capital projects.
• Coordinate vendor management activities, including selection, relationship management, and performance oversight.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
• Coordinate people and processes to ensure project objectives and desired results are achieved.
• Apply business, management, budgeting, and analytical skills to support effective decision-making.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills

• 5-7 years of experience managing projects, including capital projects.
• Proven experience managing projects with budgets of $10 million or more.
• Strong background in engineering, project management, and project engineering.
• CapEx project management experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability in project planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Experience with vendor management and coordination of third-party resources.
• Proficiency with project performance systems, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to use verification techniques to manage project scopes, schedules, and costs.
• Knowledge of comprehensive project documentation practices.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors, clients, and stakeholders.
• Strong coordination skills to align people and processes with project goals.
• Knowledge of business fundamentals, management principles, budgeting, and analysis.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

The role operates within an industrial manufacturing environment, working closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver capital projects. The position involves managing projects that support a growing organization with active expansion plans over the next several years. The work setting includes typical industrial manufacturing conditions and requires regular coordination with on-site resources, technical staff, and operational personnel.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Bossier City, LA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $72.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
