Job Title: Project Manager - Renewable Energy Interconnection
Job Description
This role focuses on managing complex renewable energy and distributed energy resource interconnection projects for a major utility in Washington State. The Project Manager supports the growth of clean energy resources across the electric system, acting as the primary point of coordination for customers seeking to connect renewable generation and distributed energy resources to the grid. The position is part of a Clean Energy organization, supports Distributed Solar and Storage Request for Proposal initiatives, and develops interconnection agreements for Tier 3 (500 kilowatt) renewable energy projects.

Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with approximately 50% on-site and 50% remote work. The role can be based at various local utility sites across Washington State, including locations such as Bellingham, Bothell, Bellevue, Seattle, Kent, and Puyallup, with potential for increased remote flexibility depending on performance. The Project Manager collaborates with 3-10 internal teams, including planning, metering, engineering, program management, protection, substation, real estate, and other technical groups. The environment is highly collaborative and technically focused, centered on large-scale renewable energy and clean energy initiatives within a modern utility setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
