Job Summary

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex programs and initiatives from conception through implementation, driving cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives and deliverables. Leveraging your experience and leadership skills, you will manage program scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.

This role also carries specific responsibility for leading and coordinating Payroll Processing implementation for US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil as part of a key project strategy, including management of regional timelines, in-country resources, and key vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of large-scale programs and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, objectives, and priorities.
• Define program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, and develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to achieve them.
• Establish and maintain effective governance structures, communication channels, and stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure transparency, accountability, and alignment throughout the program lifecycle.
• Manage cross-functional project teams, including internal and external stakeholders, to execute project activities, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
• Monitor program performance metrics, track progress against milestones, and report on program status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead change management initiatives, facilitate decision-making processes, and drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency.
• Mentor and coach junior program managers and project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and professional development.
• Drive risk identification and escalation through RAID logs and formal channels, while tracking vendor costs and resource constraints for the assigned region.
• Oversee the preparation and review of Key Design Decision (KDD) documents, current state documentation, and project deliverables.
• Lead the creation of mitigation, training, and cutover plans to ensure successful regional execution.
• Management of US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil timelines.
• Escalate risks, issues, and decisions, using RAID log and other formal channels.
• Identify resource constraints.
• Provide 4-up weekly for assigned region.
• Financial tracking for assigned region of vendor costs.
• Coordination with in-country resources to ensure execution.
• Assist in preparing Key Design Decision (KDD) documents and presenting for review/approval.
• Liaison with key vendors.
• Coordination of in-country testing resources.
• Analytical review of project documents.
• Responsibility for current state documentation for region, including coordination of SOP creation/modification and process mapping.
• Creation of mitigation, training, and cutover plans for assigned region.
• Conduct workshop with in-country teams to assess processes and create action plans to ensure flawless Operational Day 1 execution.

Required Skills

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and projects from initiation to closure, delivering on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify solutions, and drive resolution.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as PMBOK, Agile, and Waterfall.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements and priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing programs or projects in a technology, engineering, or product development environment.
• Knowledge of program/portfolio management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Previous experience in leadership roles or managing cross-functional teams.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field required.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.

Required Experience

• 6 9 years of experience in program management, project management, or a related role, with demonstrated progression in responsibility and leadership.
