Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage complex IT projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project planning, budgeting, team leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery of large-scale software development initiatives. The Project Manager will oversee project scope, timelines, resources, risks, and documentation while ensuring successful project outcomes.
 
Candidates must possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience within large healthcare or health insurance system environments is highly preferred. Scrum Master certification is a plus.
Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver complex IT projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Manage Agile Scrum and/or SAFe project delivery methodologies.
• Oversee software development teams and customer-focused integrated product teams.
• Facilitate business analysis, process mapping, and requirements documentation activities.
• Utilize Azure DevOps and PPM tools for project tracking and reporting.
• Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and ensure successful implementation.
• Prepare project documentation, status reports, business cases, and project charters.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of Information Technology Project Management experience with PMP Certification.
• 8+ years of experience with Agile Scrum Methodology and/or SAFe.
• 8+ years of experience in preparation and management of project budgets.
• 8+ years of experience managing technical software development staff.
• 8+ years of experience managing customer-oriented Integrated Product Teams.
• 8+ years of experience in business analysis, business process mapping, and requirements documentation for healthcare insurance systems similar to CMBHS.
• 8+ years of experience utilizing Azure DevOps.
• 8+ years of experience managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• 8+ years of experience using Project Portfolio Management (PPM) systems.

Preferred Skills

• 8+ years of experience preparing Formal Business Cases and Project Charters.
• Direct experience working with Health and Human Services (HHS) environments.
• Scrum Master Certification is a plus.
