Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX (Remote). The ideal candidate with expertise leading end-to-end Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementations, upgrades, and digital manufacturing initiatives.
Rate Range: $75/hour to $80/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Project Manager Job Responsibilities include:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of MES application projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budget requirements.
Develop comprehensive project plans, define project scope and objectives, and manage resources throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, operations, IT, and vendor partners, to ensure successful project implementation.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issue, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project performance and delivery objectives.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) to support MES implementation and ongoing operational success.
Drive change management, user training, and shop-floor adoption initiatives to ensure a smooth transition and effective utilization of MES solutions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Business, or a related field.
10+ years of project management experience, with a direct focus on Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation and manufacturing IT projects.
Proven experience managing large-scale MES deployments, system upgrades, and manufacturing digital transformation initiatives within enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, shop-floor systems, MOM, hardware/software integrations, and project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.

Pay Details: $75.00 to $80.00 per hour
